My mother worked at UEA with Betty for many years and had nothing but good to say about your mother. Then later they found each other at Legacy House. At least my mother remembered Betty and always loved sharing memories with her. My mom passed in April of 2021. I hope she was there to welcome your mom. May you always remember the good times and be happy for her joy of heaven. Death is a gift to them. It is only our missing them that makes us sad. May peace be with you. I had the privilege of working with and learning from Betty. She was a classy lady in every way. She had a tremendous influence on many teachers and children. I consider myself very blessed to have known her. Her influence will live on.
I had the great honor of working with Betty at the UEA from 1996-2002. She was one of the smartest, most dedicated employee advocates I ever met. I learned so much from her, especially how to provide the best service to our Utah educators. Betty was fun to be around. I loved her wit and terrific sense of humor. You will be missed, Betty, and your legacy of advocacy will live on.
I admired Betty so much. I met her through the UEA. She was knowledgeable, outgoing, friendly, and tactful. She had a rug in her office and she made it a welcoming place for herself and for others. We talked travels and I would visit with her when she lived next door to my mother-in-law. When she finally left her work she left and that allowed me to do the same.
Beautiful and intelligent, Aunt Betty was someone I always admired. She seemed to do everything well. Betty leaves a legacy of family who love her. May their memories be a comfort now. Lisa Condie
She was my third grade teacher and was wonderful. Always encouraging us to use out imaginations and she was so kind. I can't thank her enough for the wonderful teacher she was to me! Keith Larsen
