Linda Carlyn Swensen

Linda Carlyn Harris Swensen, age 57, died June 16, 2023, in Murray, Utah, after a short illness.

Linda was born October 5, 1965, at the Fremont Hospital in St. Anthony, Idaho, to Charles Harris and Carlyn Sykes. Linda lived in St Anthony all her youth and graduated from Fremont High School. Linda enjoyed babysitting her nieces and nephews and helping out her family.

In the summer of 1984, she met Eric Swensen at The Fun Station, and over a game of pool, it was love at first sight. After a short courtship, they were married on January 1, 1985, in St. Anthony, Idaho. To their marriage was born Eric Michael (Laura) Swensen, Jeanette Larea (Alex) Espinosa, Christopher William (Savannah) Swensen, and Kevin Swensen.

Throughout her life, Linda was a hard worker and was employed at Ucon Produce and Nonpareil in Blackfoot, Idaho, for 11 years. Later in life, she got her certificate and became a CNA. She was so proud and loved helping people. In 2012 she was able to take classes in photography. Linda enjoyed taking pictures and expanding her skills taking photos for friends and a few weddings.

She enjoyed camping and spending time with her husband, Eric, and Grandkids. Christmas was her favorite holiday; roast was her favorite food. She enjoyed going to the coffee shop and visiting with her friends. She is survived by her husband Eric, sons Mike and Chris, and daughter Jeanette. Grandchildren Allie, Severin, Nora and Samuel Swensen, Monika, Jarahmya, Ethan, and Krysta Espinosa. Beau, Chloe and Miles Swensen. Kaius Price, Castile, and Lilly Swensen. Siblings Teresa Harris, Frances Nielson, James Harris, Eugene Harris, Donna Lopez, Timothy Harris, Frank Harris, and Melody Winters.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Charles and Carlyn Harris, and two infant brothers, Christopher and Henry Harris, and Infant son Kevin.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
