Kimber L. Balls

On Saturday, May 25, 2019, Kimber L Balls, surrounded by family, passed away in his home at the age of 54. Kimber, also known to friends as "Slick," will be fondly remembered by his wife, sons, and friends as the genuine, hardworking, and enjoyable man that he was.

Born in Preston, Idaho, on August 12, 1964, to Orvid and Karol Balls. Kimber had a loving wife, Coralee, and a son, Mckoy, whom he enjoyed being with.

He began to work at Valley Implement prior to graduating from West Side High School. As a highly regarded welder/fabricator and mechanic for 35 years, known for his ingenuity and unobtainable by most, attention to detail created many fond memories for his coworkers and friends. He had a wonderful knack for problem-solving. Kimber lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, including spending time in his shop, enjoying the outdoors, and touring the mountains any chance he got.

There will be no public funeral services, but the family will celebrate Kimber's life and accept friends and family at a visitation on Friday, May 31, 2019, from 6-8 p.m. at the Franklin County Funeral Home at 56 S. State Street, Preston Idaho.
