The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time

Dominique was born on January 18th, 1989 in Bountiful, Utah to William Arthur & Kathy Ann Carden. She was curious, adventurous and one of a kind. Dominique graduated from Davis Alternative High School and developed skills for mechanics and creativity.

Throughout her life, Dominique showed all who knew her and were touched by her spirit and personality that she had very unique qualities. She was not a trend follower, had her own style of dress, sense of humor and feelings for others. Dominique proclaimed herself as "Not a People Person". However, she made many friends. Her kindness, thoughtfulness, sense of responsibility and good work ethics were her way of proving herself as a truly loving, big-hearted and caring individual to all who had the privilege of knowing her and having her in their lives.

Dominique had several specialties in her work career. She worked in Big-O Tire Stores as a technician for many years, moving on to engine rebuilding and auto repair for Metric Motors in Centerville, Utah. After a few other mechanic jobs, she finally joined UPS in Tacoma, Washington. According to her UPS co-workers, over three years, Dom proved herself as a trusted and hardworking team member, eventually being on their Safety Committee.

Dominique loved spending time with her family, especially her siblings who she considered her best friends. Dom became a proud Aunt in the summer of 2000 and quickly became a huge part of her nieces' lives. She shared in their triumphs, joys and pains. She was a confidant in all matters giving guidance and unconditional love.

Dominique married her spouse, Maggie Perry, on May 8th, 2018 at Kopachuck State Park in Washington.

Our lives have forever changed with her passing and life will be a little less joyful and a little less bright without Dominique.

She is survived by her Wife: Maggie Perry; Parents: Kathy Carden and William Carden, Jr. (Kristine); Siblings: Rachael Taylor (Tim), Cody Carden (Ami) and Xavier Carden; Step Siblings: Amanda Owens (George), Joshua Sinner, and Ashley Tyler (Jaren); Grandparents: William Carden, Sr., Betty L., and Daniel P. Loring and Waldemar and Janet Mai; Nieces: Alexis Taylor, Arianna Taylor, and Arikka Taylor; many uncles, aunts, cousins, and step-relatives.

Our family would like to thank the efforts of the Pierce County Medical Examiner, Chaplain Benjamin Harris, friends, coworkers and extended families for your kind thoughts, warm wishes, and prayers.

There will be a celebration of life ceremony in Dominique's honor in the coming weeks.
