Lawana Jean Lemon Clark, 64 of Tatum Texas, passed away at the home of her sister in Stone, Idaho after a several-year courageous battle with multiple cancers. She was born January 12, 1958, in Salt Lake City, Utah the daughter of Royal W. and Janet Madsen Lemon. She grew up in Park City, Utah, and enjoyed hiking, skiing, and swimming at the Mountain Spa in Midway, Utah. She loved the mountains and would visit whenever she was here.
She went on to become a professional Makeup Artist at Saks Department Store in New York City. She also did amazing interior design work. Lawana had a quick wit, and was a very open and loving person to many, providing a place to stay, and making everyone welcome.
She is survived by her six children: Dave (Tiffany) Tyler, Tilesha (Korey) Tyler, Alicia Tyler, Shawn Clark, and Candice Burleson all of Texas. Her grandchildren: are Jeslyn (Cameren) Tyler of Texas, Jasmine Tyler of Texas, Alina Tyler of Utah, Jatorra Taylor of Texas, Mariah Tyler of Texas, Jada Henderson of Texas, and Jakita Neeley of Tennessee. A great-grandchild Zyaire Rawlind. One sister Rosalie A Lemon (Don) North of Stone, Idaho, and Dennis Lee Lemon of California.
She was preceded in death by her father Royal W. Lemon and Mother Janet Madsen Lemon, a brother Glen D. Lemon and a nephew Christopher Layne Nay.
It was Lawana's wish to be cremated and have her ashes returned to her beautiful property in Tatum Texas. In her memory, we are not asking for your money, just your blessings.
Arrangements are under the direction of Franklin County Funeral Home, 56 S State Street, Preston, Idaho.
